Thermal camera's and thermal imaging technology in general it is believed could possibly be a valuable tool for detecting spirits, ghosts, specters in haunted locations. One such location with a haunted reputation and well over 100 years old is the Glenn Tavern Inn in beautiful Santa Paula California within the county of Ventura. The ghost stories abound with sightings of specters. Hearing unusual sounds and voices. The sound of unseen children playing in the hallways. I myself have recorded water being splashed in a bath tub in Room 308, with witnesses present. Nobody was in the bathroom. I've recorded voices in a couple of the Inn's rooms I've stayed in. This particular Saturday I decided to test my new Flir One thermal imaging camera. I set the mode to gray mode which shows basically in black and white and gray. Said by many to be the best mode for clear images of unexplained things. Ghosts perhaps? Thermal means it detects heat and cold surfaces. In gray mode the colder surfaces and objects turn up dark. The hottest show as white. Ghosts are thought to drain energy from the surrounding air and from the batteries in your devices and your own energy and heat. What a ghost should look like exactly on a thermal camera has never been defined. One thing you do have to be careful of is your own image being reflected on a surface.
This is what makes this video and photos even more interesting to me. Clearly the middle of a long hallway is not reflecting my image and I don't look anything like those images in the photos. Also, there is the unknown voices or EVP which coincide with this video.
I cannot claim what you will see in my video or photos are ghosts. I could not prove they are. Most would tell you they are not. So, I do not claim them or the video to be evidence they are. I have my own personal opinion and you must decide for yourself. I will say I believe in ghosts and have had many experiences which have convinced me. I present this video and the images within and the audio as things of interest which make us consider the possibility. Whether they are in fact ghostly, you must decide for yourself.
