This is the sister piece to the Ouija Board story at the Fox Theater. All involve the same investigation which took place October 24, 2014 as part of a live broadcast on KIIS FM 102.7 in Los Angeles for the JoJo Wright show. Each year JoJo picks a haunted location in Southern California to do a live show from. Last year it was the Glenn Tavern Inn. This year the Fox Theater, a notoriously haunted location in the city of Fullerton, county of Orange in Southern California. See the Ouija board story for information on how you can learn more about the history of the Fox Theater and the hauntings in Fullerton California.
I will say that if you like Ghost Tours, the Fullerton Museum puts on a nice one each year that runs September through October in down town Fullerton. You can contact the Fullerton Museum for more information on that. What follows now is my report on the investigation which took part as part of this previously mentioned radio broadcast.

I do not know every ghost story involving the Fox Theater but, the couple I did read about we confirmed on this night. Sara is one of the better known spirits who haunts the Fox. The story is she is believed to be the young daughter of a Vaudevillian stage actor / performer from the time the theater first opened in 1925 when it was a Vaudeville and Silent Movie house.
During the Ouija board session of which you can read about and view the videos of the session here on this website, we received answers through the Ouija board confirming a couple things about Sara. When asked if she indeed was the daughter of a Vaudevillian performer the answer given was yes. Sara indicated she was at the theater in 1925. According to what I read on the history of the theater, 1925 was the year it opened and as I said previously, vaudeville acts performed there. The original name was "Alician Court" named for C. Stanley Chapman's wife Alice Ellen. So, when it was indicated on the Ouija board that 1925 was the year Sara was there, it rang true and made perfect sense in accordance with what I had previously learned. When asked how old she was, Sara indicated she was a mere girl of 14 years. However we also learned that Sara may have had a boyfriend named Tim. Tim was actually the first spirit we made contact with via the Ouija board this night. Tim indicated he was last there at the Fox in 1934 and unfortunately Tim hanged himself according to what he indicated. Rob Wlodarski relayed to our group that there is a story of a young man who hanged himself in the women's restroom which was told to Rob by a person connected with the Fox at this time. So, a very productive Ouija session as we have confirmed two known spirits. As for Tim being Sara's boyfriend it is not totally out of the question because 1925 and 1934 are only nine years apart. Tim very well could have known her when she was there. His friendship / romance with Sara and his unfortunate demise coming years later all being relative.
There is also a legend that goes along with the Fox about not picking up any dimes you find in the third row from the front in the main auditorium. The story goes that a hobo seeking shelter was able to sneak into the theater basement and apparently passed away there. It is said that remains of this hobo may have been discovered at one time down in a forgotten room of the basement. All here say you understand. Just the same the story is if you find a dime in the third row from the front in the main auditorium and you pick it up and take it with you, you may have a visit from a guest you were not expecting that evening.
How the hobo story relates to our investigation on this particular night is this. I had the pleasure of talking to two sound technicians from the radio station. As we talked, one of them brought up the story of the hobo and the dime. We all ended up laughing at the prospect of the technician finding a dime and taking home a new guest. As we finished our laugh there is a interesting EVP of which you can play here. See below.

Rob and I arrived at the theater that Friday about 4:30 PM and the radio crew was already inside setting up. There is a McDonalds adjacent to the theater and we had a bite to eat prior to going in and getting ready for the investigation. This is not the first theater I have investigated. Previously, on several occasions it was my pleasure to investigate the Warner Grand in San Pedro California. Of course, although being a historic landmark, the Warner Grand is still an active theater of which stage productions are still taking place and movies are being shown. The Fox has been essentially closed down since the late 1980s. I hope that when the Fox is restored it is able to emulate the charm and history of the original time period in which it was first opened. The Warner Grand I will say, while in great shape gives you that feel of an old fashioned movie palace as they were referred to in the 1930s. Both theaters certainly give you a since of stepping back in time. There is a feeling within the Fox of time standing still and the only times I have experienced that are at the Warner Grand, or places such as the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach, the King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas and of course the Whaley House in Old Towne San Diego. Not to mention a few others. I would say the Fox and the RMS Queen Mary are similar in the feel they have to them and I think you could definitely put the Warner Grand in that category as well.
Victoria Gross a well known medium who is very familiar with the hauntings in Orange County and Fullerton and the Fox, joined us and then Marcus and Clare Lindsey of Paranormal EXP arrived after Victoria. Rob and Victoria made their way to the dressing room area under the stage. Marcus and Clare went to get their equipment and get ready for the evening and I began exploring with video and my Echovox App on my phone and my digital recorder.
I walked around the auditorium and then the stage, asking just very simple questions such as who is there, or what is the name of this building or what is the name of the city etc. Just to see if there was an awareness about the energies in this place. If spirits can tell you the name of the location after you ask them directly it is a good indication of two things. 1. You are dealing with intelligent and aware entities and not residuals. 2. You're going to get some interesting responses.
From my first audio of this initial walk through of the auditorium and stage the following was captured
8:48 sounds like we have male voice saying Fox Theater
9:24 Weird response: Female voice says "I thought some day, I'd be with you"
15:27 Two females do not like a guy named Arthur. One says "Arthur, leave us alone" and
when I asked Arthur did what? Another female says " He did hit me!"
21:10 While talkng to the two sound technicians who were from KIIS FM we laugh about the story of the dime in the 3rd row of the auditorium and the ghost of the Hobo attached to it. Just as we laugh about not wanting the Hobo to go home with them that night there is an EVP of a male voice saying "I love them".
The hobo EVP you have already heard but here are other captures mentioned herein.

Rob Wlodarski and Victoria Gross and I did a short EVP/ Echovox session on the stage. At one point we get a female voice say "Robert" and Rob believes it may be his mother who passed away in 2011. There is precedence for this as in February 2011 while on the RMS Queen Mary, just a week or so after Rob's mother passed, a very simiar capture was made of a similar female sounding voice saying "Robert".
Here is that capture from the stage.

A little over a minute into this session and we are doing Echovox as we are talking there is a unknown voice which does not sound like echovox and sounds in fact like its in a tunnel. Sounds like it reverberates throughout the area. It says "Gerald let me prove to you". Gerald by the way is me. LOL
The area under the main stage, where the orchestra pit still is and the empty area next to that is where the dressing rooms and what was known as the green room use to be. A Green Room is kind of a get away for the actors where they can be just before or after they go on stage. The area is completely devoid of walls, partitions or any semblance of being a dressing room area now. Just a big empty void on the stage. I set up in the middle of this void to do an Echovox session and found myself greeting three spirits. Jim, Frank and a young sounding female who did not give her name. Take a listen if you will.
Still under the stage, I began hearing many foot steps on the stage above me.
4:05 Either someone is running around on stage or there is a group of people because I can hear their feet pounding the stage above me. When I went back up stairs to the stage I found Rob, Clare, Marcus and Victoria all by the table in the corner. The table was away from the area which was over me while I was under the stage. They told me they had made contact with a dancer who they told to dance but they did not hear her. I told them it sounded like a bunch of people walking on the stage above me and they all said they had been in the corner at the table and that none of them had been walking on stage.
6:40 more noise from above. It continues for a couple minutes and there is a female voice on the Echovox which sounds like it says "Dancing with her".
7:40: Dancing with her may have been cut off. Under further review it says "Dancing with her mother and me".
Here are those captures.

Much of what comes after this has been covered in the post on the Ouija Board session so, no sense in repeating that. There was other captures which I may post later but I am still deciding on whether or not to post them. Hope you enjoyed this look into the paranormal world of the Fox Theater in Fullerton.
