RMS Queen Mary EVP

This page is for EVP and other Audio Captures I have recorded on the RMS Queen Mary over the years.

We Will Come Home Free, They Have a Key, Who Are You, They have Key,  (R-Deck Foward Storage area)

This is a most interesting recording.  They reason so is, the RMS Queen Mary, at least on one particular voyage when Sir Winston Churchill came over to New York City during the War, brought along many German and Italian prisoners of war.

The first voice on this of at least  four different entities it sounds like to me, has a bit of an accent as you listen to him.  "We will come home free" he says.  Almost as if he is reassuring others of their success in making good on their escape.  The "They have a Key" and "They have Key" I cannot tell what accent it is but my guess they are neither British or American because Brits and Americans would not be concerned with me having a key to let them out.  Now the "Who are you?"  may very well be an American.

I always loved investigating in this part of the ship.  With the prisoners that were kept in the forward cargo hold three decks below this and the old furniture and the energies attached to those items it always made this area of the ship most interesting.

You can bet on that boy (R-Deck Forward by the J-box)

The RMS Queen Mary for the most part has always been a male dominated domain.  Yes there are plenty of female spirits aboard ship but let us not forget that this ship was a war ship in World War II.Transporting troops and goods to the European Theater from the United States.  And she was used to bring the troops home as well.   Most ships crews were primarily men.  Even as a commercial ocean liner.  RMS Queen Mary as  the Germans put it is an English Boat but, this entity sounds American to me.

This is clearly by the storage area on R-deck forward.  The old ship's furniture and other items are kept in storage here.  I know this because of my years of experience on the ship and knowing the sound of the EMF being putout but this J-Box on the starboard side of the ship.  Its sound was a common part of the entire storage area.

Listen to Reason and Why are you here? (Misc)

This recording could be a couple of places  but the sound of my voice  as it reverberates as I speak makes me think this is in the Changing Room of the 1st and 3rd Class Pool.  It is very similar to my voice in the "Bobby Pin" recording.  Interesting responses.  "Listen to reason"  almost as if they are pleading with me.  "Why are you here?"  This is a question i have heard on more than one occassion.  It may denote that the spirit does not comprehend its own situation.

"Go For it" (Misc)

Miscellaneous  EVP recordings from the RMS Queen Mary are like lost treasures found.  I've recorded so many over the years that sometimes the particulars as to what compartment or part of the ship they come from has been misplaced for the moment.   I kind of remember this one and my guess is this was in the Rudder Control Room but I cannot be sure.  I do recall a few times in the Rudder Control Room where the KII action was pretty lively.  This seems like this may have been one of those times.

"Come with me now, we're late" (Lobby outside of pool on R-Deck)

This is one of the stranger recordings I've captured aboard ship.  It was a Saturday morning and I was down on R-Deck, in the lobby area between what use to be the entrance to the 1st and  3rd Class pool and the Windsor Room/ Grand Salon rooms.  A typical Saturday morning on the ship with many people attending different functions or simply visiting the Grand Lady.  I decided to do a vigil and just kind of sit there with my recorder running and see what I catch.  The lobby on R-deck was not especially busy with foot traffic, just a few people every now and then.  When this capture is recorded the people closest to me are good 20 feet away and they are talking quietly amongst themselves.  What you will also notice is the other worldly sound to this unknown voice and she sounds like she's addressing me as the voice seems really close.  I am referring the entity as she as it sounds female to me. A very strange and eerie capture indeed.

"Help me find Angie" and "Don't you ever hold back"   (Iso Ward)

This past March 2014 I was spending a Saturday morning on the RMS Queen Mary and while down in the Iso Ward caught these two gems on my recorder.  Sounds like the same voice to me.  He was looking for somebody named Angie and advised me never to  hold back.  I appreciate his support.  LOL.
