April 23, 2011 is a night and morning I'll never forget. I was assisting on the Friday night paranormal investigation tour aboard the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach California. Every Friday since March of 2008 I along with the host of the tour, would lead 18 to 25 guests into the areas of the ship not normally seen. This was to allow guests the experience of paranormal investigation and to learn a little about the haunted history of the RMS Queen Mary. This particular night would be a night of strange noises, Class A EVPs and full body apparitions.
In this video, I have set up my video camera to focus on an upper level machinery space on the port side of the ship, within the boiler room. There has been a shadow figure reportedly seen, moving from the forward part of that compartment to the after side. As people have been looking at the door they can see inside the compartment and this is when the shadow is seen.
While standing alone on the Disney Stage, with my camera running, the noises which are common to the boiler room such as tapping sounds and the compressor coming on, are all taking place. What is unusual on this night, is the sound of horrendous pounding which takes place and seems to be coming from a lower portside space directly across from where I am standing. It was quite surprising and similar in some ways to another experience we had in the Rudder Control Room back aft in January of 2010. Relentless and violent pounding of which I had never heard in this boiler room previously.

Upon opening the door I could see it was lighted and the compartment however was clean except it appeared there had been some work done in there just prior to that evening. I could not detect the source of the pounding and the compartment looked to be in order.

As you can see from this video the compartment is lighted. It looked as if work had taken place in there recently but, there was nobody in there. I asked two or three times if somebody was there with no response. However, as you will hear somebody says "I'am right behind you." Who that was I have no idea. I was the only person in that area. The group was nearly two compartments forward of where I was at that time.
In this video, I discuss the strange noises with the tour host. I also explain that something walked past the light I could see coming through pipe coming out of the bulkhead.
As we are leaving the boiler room, I am the last person coming out when our host, Pat, sees somebody walking behind me from starboard to port. I immediately turned around and went back in and saw nobody. In the direction this person was reportedly heading, there are wooden planks which make noise and vibrate if you were to leap onto them with any force. Not a sound and no one was seen. Whoever he was he was gone in a flash.
With the possible sighting of a full body apparition we decided to do an EVP session on the steps of the platform known as the "Disney Stage". Prior to this some of the guests were tired and we led them up and out of the ship for the night and there was only a few of us left. Also, Security had come down and searched the area and saw not a sign of anyone who did not belong.
This KII session is one of the best I've ever been involved with on any investigation. The responses were amazing. Just so you know, KII meters can be influenced by the EMF from power sources and they can be triggered by the keying of a handheld two-way radio or walkie Talkie. The Security team was gone and no one present had any such devices. We also checked for outside EMF sources as you hear at the end of this video when I ask about power cables. Nothing that would influence the KII meters was present.
This KII session is one of the best I've ever been involved with on any investigation. The responses were amazing. One of the best EVPs I have captured anywhere. Toward the end of the EVP session on the Disney Stage this Class A EVP of this distraught woman is captured. There were no women present other than my 16 year old daughter at the time.
